Kayleigh lives in South Shropshire with her husband and a disgracefully ageing tabby cat.

 

She established a regular writing habit during the 2020 pandemic as a distraction from the global situation. After joining an online writing group and being introduced to flash fiction, she became addicted. She also became part of a small group giving and receiving feedback on YA (young adult) works in progress. 

 

By June 2022, Kayleigh began submitting flash to online literary magazines and since then has had pieces published online and in print, pieces of which you can sample below. 

 

Kayleigh leans towards writing about dragons, castles, and feisty women. She often says, the world is a little too real and escapism is so underrated.    Happy reading!
