Kayleigh lives in South Shropshire with her husband and a disgracefully ageing tabby cat.
Having established a regular writing habit during the 2020 pandemic as a distraction from the global situation, she joined an online writing group and a member introduced her to short fiction, known as flash.
By June 2022, Kayleigh’s addiction to flash fiction led to her submitting online to literary magazines, and she regularly has pieces published online and in print. Some of these tales you can sample below.
​Her writing style is consistently humorous, featuring strong female characters and often incorporating touches of fantasy and she’s rather fond of dragons.
​As Kayleigh says, the world is a little too real and escapism is so underrated. Happy reading!
